This Shipping Policy outlines how Planter Potters processes and delivers orders placed through our website.

Order Processing Times

Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Typical processing times are:

  • Standard items: 2–3 working days

  • Garden planters: 5–7 working days

For garden planters, more accurate production times are displayed on the individual product pages, which should always be used as the most up-to-date guide.

Orders are dispatched daily once processing is complete.


Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Standard Items

  • Shipped via Royal Mail

  • Tracked delivery service

  • Estimated delivery time: 2–3 working days after dispatch

Garden Planters

  • Shipped via FedEx

  • Next working day delivery service

  • Estimated delivery time: 1–2 working days after dispatch

Once your order has been shipped, tracking information will automatically be sent to you.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on courier conditions.


Delivery Locations

Standard Items

We ship worldwide for most standard products.

Garden Planters

Due to their size and weight, garden planters are shipped within the UK mainland only.

Deliveries to the following areas may require additional shipping charges:

  • Northern Ireland

  • Scottish Highlands

  • Scottish Islands

  • Channel Islands

  • Other non-mainland UK locations

If additional charges apply, we will contact you before dispatch.


Shipping Costs

For most orders, shipping costs are included within the product price.

Additional shipping charges may apply in certain situations, including:

  • Delivery outside UK mainland for garden planters

  • Custom-sized planters that require specialist shipping

Where additional charges apply, we will notify you before shipping your order.


Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details automatically by email, allowing you to follow the progress of your delivery.


Courier Delays

While we aim to deliver within the estimated timeframes provided, delivery times are not guaranteed and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control.

These may include courier delays, severe weather, busy seasonal periods, or logistical disruptions.

Planter Potters cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by third-party couriers, however we will always assist customers in resolving any delivery issues where possible.


Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at checkout is correct and complete.

If an order is returned to us due to:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address

  • Failed delivery attempts

  • The parcel not being collected from the courier

We may require additional shipping charges to resend the order.


Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the damaged item

  • A brief description of the issue

This helps us resolve the matter as quickly as possible.


Packaging Requirement for Damage Claims

To help us process damage claims with our couriers, customers must retain all packaging materials and the damaged item until the issue has been investigated.

Failure to keep the original packaging may affect our ability to submit a courier claim or provide a replacement.


Missing or Lost Parcels

If your parcel is marked as delivered but cannot be located, we recommend:

  1. Checking with neighbours or other household members

  2. Checking any safe places used by the courier

If the parcel is still missing or tracking has stopped updating, please contact us and we will investigate with the courier.
